Intramural Update:
The brothers of the SAE won both their games this week in the intramural sports point league.
The volleyball team won its final regular season game, beating ZBT 25-23, 25-14 to finish off the regular season a perfect 3-0. The setting skills of junior David Williams and the spiking prowess of sophomore Timmy Wang led the way to victory.
The flag football team demolished AEPI 32-6 in the second round of the playoffs. The offense, led by seniors Garrett Schreiber and Alex Wood-Doughy, scored on all but one drive. The defense continued to play well as it has done all season, holding AEPI’s offense to just one score. The team will be playing for the Championship against Phi Delta Theta this Sunday at 1:00pm on the Intramural fields. Looking to avenge an 18-6 loss earlier this season to PhiDelt, the team is on its way to capture its second flag football championship in a row.
The IM athlete of the week is Timmy Wang. Timmy finished with ten kills in the volleyball game and caught two touchdown passes in the football game. It was a fantastic week for Timmy, playing in his first two IM games of the year.
